whom should we call broad minded person and whom as open minded person both seems alike thats why

I'm not sure but...
When you say broad mindedness i think it means having known lots of information and that your knowledge is broad.
Another is that the person thinks further than what is explained or said.
Open mindedness generally means that you are not excluding yourself from facts that are even disagreeable to you. It means you accept things even though you don't agree with them.
ex:
I am open minded about gays. But i don't like to be one.
That's why i keep myself open minded to all suggestions because they deserve to be accepted.
