I wish to God somebody would get me a book. I am the only one in my entire extended family that reads (everyone knows it!), and don't you think it would be thoughtful and inexpensive? I've only gotten a book once--when I was 10! Even the smuttiest romance novel would be a meaningful Christmas present and would make my holiday.

I know what you mean when you say a gf. I was joking with friends of mine saying i would want a bf, but i really dont.
I think it would be cool if my mom were to give me something that she has made, like a quilt. to me that is a very meaningful gift.
