yeah, me too! Here's what can help, but you have to do it! Instead of going on the computer, (like now), or the t.v., get ready for bed, get in and turn on the radio and put on some soft music. Get an ENYA cd (very relaxing music), or find the radio station that plays "coast-to-coast". It's a talk show that goes all night long, but you'll fall asleep fairly soon. Just get in bed when it's 9:00pm at the latest. Sweet dreams!

Get up one hour earlier tomorrow. Whenever you feel sleepy go to bed. The next night, if you still go to bed too late, get up 2 hours earlier. If you still go to bed late, get up even earlier. As the days go by, you should be making yourself more tired at earlier times in the night. Once you begin to feel sleepy at more desired hours, set a bedtime that will give you your needed amount of sleep. In the meantime, put on your pj's, turn the lights down, and do something relaxing before bed (Sometimes reading something boring or hard to read while in bed puts me to sleep). Avoid sleeping in and napping in the afternoon and evening. Eat dinner at least 2 hours before bed and exercise (swimming will wear you out) at least 3 hours before bed. If you can't sleep, stay in bed and read a book for 20 minutes, then try it again. Last resort (only for emergencies): use a sleep aid like Tylenol PM as directed. Hope this helps! Sweet dreams!

P.S. If you try this, email me and tell me how it goes.

Stay up all night one night, and all day the next day. Go to bed early and rise early the next day. Then be very steadfast about going to bed earlier. This should have you in a regulated sleep cycle in a few days. Avoid caffine and sugary products close to bedtime as well.

Try to stay away from tv and computer screens as they make to stay awake longer. Try getting warm or reading a book before you go to bed. Hope it works out

Lay off the caffeine and sugar. Get a physically demanding job. Have children. Stop watching TV and get off the net. Close your eyes and fall asleep. That should work.

For one thing: choose to stop looking directly at any bright screen (such as computer or TV) for at least one hour before you want to be asleep.
