i will be going to changi airport by MRT.When i reach Tanah Merah MRT station,must i get down from the train?

I am little confused and not very sure of the MRT system in singapore.When i reach tanah merah station,must i get down from the train and take another train to changi airport?Thanks!!!

Yes, if you're going to the Changi Airport by MRT. Then you'll need to aboard the train at Tanah Merah MRT Interchange station from which you're either taking from the city area or you're taking your train from Pasir Ris station. Just go to the MIDDLE platform when your train stops at Tanah Merah station and wait for your train to come and take you to the Changi Airport station. Remember to stand back behind the yellow lines as indicated on the whole stretch of the platform. Don't go beyond the lines, if not you'll be announced by the PA system, requesting you to step back for security reasons and constraints.

And from Tanah Merah MRT Interchange, you need to board on the train again to go to the airport. There'll be 2 stops after Tanah Merah station, which are The Expo station and Changi Airport station. You'll drop off at Changi Airport station, which is the LAST stop and you've reach your destination.

not to worry, our train system is very simple. Once you reach Tanah Merah MRT station, you just have to step out of the train and you will see there is another train track in the middle. Then you can wait for the train to come and board it, you will also hear announcement that this train is going towards airport, if you are still worried just ask any passengers in the MRT, cheers

There are 3 platform at Tanah Merah Station.
The middle platform will bring you to changi airport.

Do not go down the escalators and go out of the Tanah Merah station.

Yes, just get down of the train and walk towards the middle track and wait for the train to arrive. Board the train when it arrives, and alight at the last stop which is Changi Airport. The stop before Changi Airport is Expo station. Please take note.
