It's an Arabic baby girls name that means 'princess'. What do you think? If not, any similar suggestions? It's pronounced, Al-meer-ah.

a news segment had a thing on names not long ago. You need to think about when she is grown. People named, john, steve, easy, common names were more likely to get hired for jobs than people with names that you cant pronounce.
Ultamately, its upto you, but first impressions mean alot.
At this point, you are setting the stage for her.

I don't think anyone would pronounce it the way you have it Al-meer-ah
I think most people would think it was Al-my-ra
which is an old fashioned name....
