I was 17 when I first starting working. I did a work study program through UCLA, working as a file clerk in the Department of Letters and Science, the first 4 weeks I received high school credit and then for next 6 weeks I got a paycheck.

Well, I started babysitting the neighbor kids in the summer (all day while the parents worked) when I was 9.
But my first job aside from babysitting was detassling corn for seed companies. I was 11. I made a $1.00 an hour, and they hauled us to the corn fields in the back of old livestock trucks. I made $400.00 that first season.

I couldn't wait to get my first job, so I got one asap when I was 15 and a half. I worked for a smoothie/health drink bar in a gym. It was a lot of fun. I actually really miss it after almost 10 years in the work force now.

My first part time job was riding my horse to this pregnant lady place and grooming and keep her horses looking nice and taking a horse or 2 out for a ride. I guess I was about 15 at the time and on weekends.

14 I worked for a program called CETA it was for youth 14-17 we were paid minimum wage My job was in a park serving free lunch to low income kids in the summer time they got a sandwich, fruit and a milk I also worked at Mcd's at 14 and was a car-hop when I was 16 My bunny suit is put up now I hopped out of there after 2 months:)
