It has been almost a year and a half and every time the court date comes up it gets post poned again. I want to know if there is any way to take it off my driving record if the limitation has run out? If you need more details email me at bigbootie03_2003@yahoo.com

What court? The statute of limitations doesn't apply once you have been charged. They have a year to try you, as long as the delay is not on your part. If you are in Pulaski County, particularly Sherwood the docket is always full. If your lawyer asked for a continuance it probably threw it well into the next year, but this removes the one year requirement. You can keep renewing your hardship as long as it is continued. Driver control is going to give you a hard time regardless when it is all over and done with. I do a ton of DWI's they always seem to take forever. District Court is always busy.

It's like seven years or something. They won't let time run out. They are just putting you off for a minute but even if it did go on for a long time they would catch it before it was up. They are probably just very busy and will take care of you when they have the time. The courts like to make people suffer and wonder what's going on and just when you think everything is done and over they take care of you and you are screwed.
