I think the answers you are not looking for are "Yes" or "No". But that is the way you worded your question. My answer to your rediculous/attention grabbing question is incredibly obvious No, Joe Biden did not quit the Vice Presidency to become a stand-up comedian. I think you are really asking how can Joe Biden or anybody say that Obama has inherited the most difficult first 100 days of any President? You are correct that Roosevelt had the most difficult presidency and Biden is overstating Obama's difficulties. I agree with you. Well, kind of agree. But we do not know all of the difficulties Biden might be speaking of and from the position of the Vice President of the United States, he may be capable of looking down the road to difficulties that most people can not see, yet.
