In this day and age, we have become a people
obsessed with political correctness. Americans
often state that we live in a land of freedom and
for the most part that is true,
However people of all races are allowed to practice
their religion and live as they choose. Some would
argue that wishing someone a Merry Christmas
invokes God and as a result offends those that do
not worship a deity of any kind.
I say that if people can choose not to celebrate or
believe, then I have the right to choose as well.
I say Merry Christmas to everyone. If someone is
offended then they can overlook the greeting. I have
just as much right as the next person to do or say
as I please as long as no harm comes to another.
So having said all of this: Merry Christmas!

Of course. Christmas is christmas. Can't you say Happy Hannukah to a Jewish person? If they're not Jewish and you accidently say it anyway, what's the harm in that? Oh, I'm not Jewish should be the answer. I don't get all the offensive-ness that comes with Merry Christmas! It's a holiday that a lot of Christians celebrate, and shouldn't offend anyone, if you ask me.
