How do I keep the infection from spreading and what do I do to clean everythiing in the house.

I took my son to the doctor and he said my son my have a staph infect, so I was asking how do you kill the bacteria in your house?

depends on what kind of infection your son has. My son used to have staph and his was bleeding on the outside. I had to wear cloves and change his bandages often as possible. I bathed him every day. I kept his bed sheets clean everyday, that is I changed them and washed his blankets daily. I also got medicine from the doctor. that is after we got home from the hospital. I didn't know why he had 2 bumps that kept getting biger on his leg so I took him in we were there together for a week.
My best advice is go to the docters a.s.a.p. before it gets terribly worse.

Take the baby to the doctor immediately.
Ask your doctor for information as to cleaning your house.

where does your son have the infection.......the only thing i would watch for is fever.......just wash his toys and his bottles and stuff really good and have you takin him to a doctor?........follow all instructions on his meds probably should be on an antibiotic internal and external if the staff is on the body.........i hope that helps.........Kat
