BEWARE-BEWARE-BEWARE! First I would recomend going to the Better Business Beaural Online. Check the business out for complaints. I believe on the Home Page you can also find some info on the site that gives more information about what the latest scams to look out for are and how to do your homework before investing in any of these deals. Usually you will be taken by these types of companies. they either take your money and run, or they get you involved into a chain letter type deal, where you are actually buying a list of names to send out (stuff letters) the same letter that nailed you. In essance- you are continuing a chain letter. I really never understood from a logistics or business view point why any business with ethics would solicit at home letter stuffers. Its MUCH more ecomomic and efficient to use a full service printing company. Im guessing the company you may be looking at is asking for a deposit for the mailing costs or for a package to be sent to you. Be careful- you may never see your money again.

I hope this helps you and best wishes!

PS- If it sounds to good to be true, it probally is!

Sorry, it's a scam.

The way it generally works, is this:

You pay. They send you a piece of paper with some instructions on it. It says something like "copy our ad and put it in as many classifieds as you can find".

So you're supposed to "stuff" your own "envelopes" to mail "sales letters" to "companies". Meaning, you copy down their ad, put it in an envelope, mail it to the 'company' ... the classifieds (you're 'selling' with that letter so technically it IS a sales letter).

Then you sit back and wait for people to send YOU $25. That's how you make $1000 a week. Hoping your own scam ad cons enough people.

Sorry.

First, I have to tell you that I have been scammed by the same thing. I worked at an answering service that answered there calls. (I should have known) My advice to you is that if it sounds too good to be true, it is. As a result I never sign up for anything that requires me to pay anything at all up front and if I do, I ask for a physical address and contact name & phone # and if they are there and answering after a few months, then maybe it is legitimate. Just be careful. People are out to get your money not give it to you.
