Okay, so both are awesome!!! It's difficult to compare them only because Disneyland is only one park whereas Disneyworld is a conglomerate of multiple parks. Disneyland is pretty much the Magic Kingdom park in Disney World. Between those two, Disneyland is much better!

Two completely different parks. Two completely different experiences.
Disney World is designed as a resort which incorporates many park attractions into the resort, while including the ammenities nicer resorts may offer. With that in mind, the resort was designed to be seen over several days.
Disneyland is an amusement park and a piece of living history. Though many of the rides are antiques, its still a must see park for everyone. Everyone needs to show some love!
Disneyland is where it all started.
My opinion:
Walt Disney Resort is probably better for a longer vacation of 5-7days. Disneyland would be done best in 2 days;however, California's better than Florida. You make the choice.

I was at Disney World in 1975 and at Disney Land in 1985. Haven't been back to either, since. SO, my opinion, based on those ancient memories is that World was better than Land... World is cleaner than Land. If you lose your car in the parking lot at World, there are all kinds of helpful security people. At Land, if you lose your car in the parking lot, look mean and carry a big stick.

disney world all the way cuz they have way more sections of rides and is fab. if you love disney channel you will probably love disney world some time most the time i think there is concerts with stars on disney channel and the disney world amusment park is so fun disney land is okay but i really think that disney world beats disney land all the way anyways disney land has less sections of rides so again i think disney world is better than disney land.

I have only been to Disneyland, and i have been there many times and it's boring. I sure Disney World is much better, watching the Disney Channel, World has everything Disneyland has and so much much more. Which brings me to the question, why doesn't the much more populated LA get the better of the 2?

I personally liked Disney World better because they have so many different parks you can go to and the resorts that are in disney. It was great. They have the animal kingdom also which was very neat. I think its just better cause it has so many more attractions.
