They get pregnancy dates wrong all the time. They just go by the date of your last period normally and the size of the baby and development on the ultrasound. The estimated delivery date is just that, an estimation. There is no way they can know that for sure.

with an lmp of 5 may, u wud have ovulated around 19 to 21 may (assuming u have 28 to 30 day cycle), so conception would have taken place on these days.
since sperm can live inside u up to 5 days, even if u last had sex on 15 may, u could still have fallen pregnant a few days later when u ovulated and the sperm earlier was still in ur system.
later into a pregnancy the ultrasound gets less accurate at predicting conception dates, as babies develop at different rates. an ultrasound earlier in pregnancy wud probably have given u a more accurate conception date. the ultrasound uses averages anyway!

If your periods are regular, and you have a good memory (wink) you can base it on your last period. Add two weeks to the date you started. That's about when you ovulated, had some fun (wink wink) and then conceived. Add forty weeks (not nine months!) to the date of your last period and that should be your true due date. Each baby has its own growth rate, and that's why your due date can change when the doc looks at the ultrasound. Hope this helps!!

It comes when its ready, you should have a rough idea. They kept on changing my dates every check up ??? Then I ended up with 4 due dates (I dont think they knew what they were doing). I ended up having bub 4 weeks earlier than the 1 st date I was given.

I probably would go with what my doctor said... Remember it is only a guesstament and only 3-4% of babies actuall arrive on their due dates

Idon't think the the ultra sound can be wrong for it is usually very accurate. try another altra- sound but if the result is the same then you need to revisit your past events in that sense.

Expected dates are always confusing ,do not go as per that & relax.
If you are still keen about kid's father,go for DNA test
