We're in for a good one, we'll see some major improvements in nanotech within the next 30 to 40 years, I'm talking nanobots at the end of that period. Biotech as mentioned will be another major player. It will be interesting to see how bio mathematics and hence bio computing develop.
Then there are the parallel research on quantum phenomena. Quantum cryptography will soon become a commercial reality and research will be focused on quantum teleportation and computing among others.
Especially the latter since we may hit rock bottom with Moore's law in processor manufacture sooner rather than later when you consider the rate of development in the chip industry.
Hydrogen power will be explored and new unexpected power sources will be investigated in the midst of a long due energy crisis.
etc. etc.
Hope most of you make it to witness these.

Research nanotechnology. You can do a google, yahoo, msn, ask.com search on it or whatever and find a lot of information. Nanotechnology is a good place to look at new innovations because most "inventions" have been started on right now or are in the early stages of testing. It can give you an idea on how rapidly our world can change with these micro-technologies. I know nanotechnology is beginning to be used a lot in the agricultural aspect of life, such as farming; crops, livestock etc. They are also using nanotechnology for newer more efficient and better ways of using solar energy.

the computing device. How has it replaced the way I stay? i'm utilizing it now. you're interpreting it now. The communication is on the spot, and international. computers are literally all-recent. All of market and technology are literally managed and directed by computers. authorities, agency, faculties, protection force, drugs progression of destiny breakthroughs, production, CAD (computing device-assisted layout) ---all directed and assisted by computers.
