WASHINGTON - President Bush's war policies have failed in almost every regard, the bipartisan Iraq Study Group concluded Wednesday, and it warned of dwindling chances to change course before crisis turns to chaos.
Nearly four years, $400 billion and more than 2,900 U.S. deaths into a deeply unpopular war, violence is bad and getting worse, there is no guarantee of success and the consequences of failure are great, the panel of five Republicans and five Democrats said in a bleak accounting of U.S. and Iraqi shortcomings. The implications, they warned, are dire for terrorism, war in the Middle East and higher oil prices around the world.
It said the United States should find ways to pull back most of its combat forces by early 2008 and focus U.S. troops on training and supporting Iraqi units. The U.S. also should begin a "diplomatic offensive" by the end of the month and engage adversaries Iran and Syria in an effort to quell sectarian violence

the US definitly should pulled out of Iraq and long ago they cant win the war. Because anyone out on the streets could be a terrorist and want to kill them. As the war goes on I think the death rates are going to go up and theyll have to pull out then. Ive heard that all there is being shipped out of Iraq is coffins and body bags from a first hand source. I dont think there reporting all the deaths and there are lots of Iraqis being killed in there own country by americans thats not right

each and anybody is demise precisely!!! Who can we blame for that? No not Bush, yet each and each and every of the pink States that positioned him there! Now each and anybody found out that he replaced right into a foul decision and are putting the Democrats decrease back on properly of issues... Now that I vented, I trust you on how the memorial might want to look!!that is a very unpopular warfare for the excuses that the yankee human beings were rather lie to! even with the actual shown truth that Bush took us into the warfare that we are loosing, i am going to agree why he ought to opt for to "stay the route." He screwed up and can't decrease backpedal now! that ought to deliver a foul message for the time of the international that we gained't stabilize IRAQ! Or more advantageous importantly, "We F&*#$ UP!"

Our leaders need to get their heads out of their posteriers and realize They have just seen the tip of the ice berg. Arabs have been hating Jews and planning their extinction for 1000's of years. Now they hate us for defending Israel. We have to find a way to pressure Arab leaders to take accountability for the extremists in their countries or face consequences. There has been little real support for peace from any of the Midlle eastern countries. Withdrawing from Iraq is not the complete answer to our problems.

WE cannot leave, why the hell do you think the taliban was formed? When afghanistan beat Russia with our help in the 80's, we left them and didnt help them rebuild, well now we are paying the price for that, hence 9/11 ( the taliban and alqueda)
WE need to tell teh Iraqi government what date we are leaving then leave, PERIOD

I think It's a down hill battle at this point
The President is Nuts for starting this mess
and now We have to wait and see the outcome and said I told you so in the end . Like they said
Your in for a penny your in for a pound. The best way to start to being this to an end is start
talking to surrounding neighbors .and come to an agreement on something.
