sexual and asexual reproduction have the following similarities:

1. both are carried out only by living organisms, like plants and animals, and cannot be carried out naturally by non-living things.

2.both will produce offsprings (new individuals) of the same species to their parent(s)

3.both may cause the species' population to multiply.

4.both offsprings inherite the genetic information from their parent(s).
