He walked out on his WWE contract to try and play for the Vikings(as a defensive tackler). He didn't make it but I saw on wwe.com that him and Vince were discussing terms for a possible contract (but no info on it). He wrestled in Japan for a while but now hes intrerested in MMA because he was with Royce Gracie in a interview talking about him being in MMA.

He left to attempt a football career with the Minnesota Vikings.

He didn't make the team, so he went to Japan to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling, and became only the second man to hold both the WWF/E and IWGP World Heavyweight Titles in their career (the other is Japanese wrestling legend Antonio Inoki, who defeated Bob Backlund for the WWF title, only to lose it back to Backlund in a controversial match a short time later).

Lesnar had a falling out with NJPW and quit the promotion, vacating the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

These days, he has been involved in a lawsuit with WWE that prevents him from working for TNA or UFC.

I do believe he signed with The Bengals or the Tigers or some team with the NFL. During pre season training, he walked away... I heard he was not getting along with the rest of the team. He is currently wrestling out in Japan.

The same things that happens to most wrestlers- besides injury. It's a really stressfull job, all that traveling, bad food, staying in shape, all the fans and paparazzi, learning new moves and routines, never seeing your family. If you look closely, wrestling has a high turnover rate.
So he went to try football, but it was kind of the same. I think Mr. Mcmahon is trying to work him into one of the movies wwe keeps churning out these days.

Cena should buy him a beer because Lesnar's decision to leave is the only reason Cena is the Champion.
