I was only scared once because the guest of honor look like a totally different person. I mean to the point where I questioned if it was the right person or if they had a mix up.

I'm not frightened. I went to the viewing of my grandfather. But like you said, it wasn't the same person that we all knew. They had brushed his hair back ( I don't think he ever brushed his hair in his entire life ).
Even though I have fond memories of him, that's the last image of him, that stays in my head, which gives me the sh*ts.

I remember having to go to a funeral when I was a little kid with my grandparents. The funeral was for some little old lady they knew, but when I looked into that casket and saw a dead person there it scared me to death. I avoid funerals at all cost now. I only attend those of immediate family and no others.

im not scared of the casket being open but i do feel sort of weird at funerals all the time i hardley ever good i just pray for the families

No, I have a huge family and have been attending funerals ever since I was a little kid>
Don't worry the dead can't hurt you..The living is the ones you haft to watch out for!

Not scared, but I hate having the last time I see someone be in a box. It's impossible to erase that image from memory.

No, me don't be scared, like now working in this old 1840's buidling at midnight all alone, hearing every little sound, on the 3rd floor, no me not scared.

Yeah some of those guys do a very poor job with make-up!!

No, they do a good job at making them up. They look younger and if they had been sick it is hard to tell.
