I'm just curious, because I have the feeling people's thoughts on this could be very different.

It is a war that Bush wanted , why , we may never know for sure . It wasn't because of WMD's or that Bin Laden was there or even that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 . He had a reason and 9/11 just happened to help him make his point to the American people .
Only things started to go wrong with his plan after we took Saddam out and thought we had won the hearts and minds of the Iraqis .
His plan had many holes in it and was not corrected early enough .
So here we are in a big mess and Bush is looking for help to win this thing and make himself look good . Not going to happen ! Because of Bush we have won nothing and this country is divided more then it has been since Vietnam .
You can't win a war when your country is at opposite ends with each other .
Nikolas S . Is there a texto that site or of his speech ?

Because Bush cant do his job, & its our people fighting his damn battle, I personally think if he wants a war, FINE, LET HIM GO FIGHT THE WAR, leave our boys alone!!!!We've lost too many people, becuase of him, I personally would rather see Bush gone, then our true loved ones gone. Bush cant fight his way out of a wet paper bag, unless he HAS HIS DADDY BACK HIS *** UP! But come to think of it, noone could wait for his daddy to get out of the office either, just think what the world would be like if Jeb took over too. This whole world would be better off without the damn Bush family!!!! Why should we fight his war, & do the dirty work, becuase Bush cant keep his damn mouth shut???

Not only that now that they found Saddam, Bush looks liek hes more concered with Saddam, & has completley forgot hey were ALSO looking for Bin Laden too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a personal war for our President....... Sadam Husan threatened his father...... so Bush got elected (with his brother fixing the Florida election) with the knowledge that something would happen so he could justify attacking Hussan.... that something was the attack on 9/11

The war has been over for quite some time....... Sadam is out of power...... his army was disbanned...... they put a government in power...... and we are still there....... after all that success he stuck around and we became an occupying power

Now Iraq is in the middle of a civil war and we are targets for both sides

bush is trying 2 rule the world and to take all oil and basically everything. its pretty stupid how the PM of australia (where im from) follows bush everywhere like a lil puppy... pretty sad.
he ruined so many lives in iraq and now he may do that to syria and IRAN (wooh im iranian) lol

even though irans government is bad and every civilian in iran wants to over through the mullahs, bush wants to do be the saviour. if he tries this, trust me there will be another war and many people would get hurt,..... i just hope it dont happen.

Iraq is the only country we had enough inteligence on to attack, and knew we would have support once we arrived. Most of to secure the Oil, which if you had no gas to drive with or were paying 20$ a gallon, yes you would complain "Heavily". And to have some sort of presence in the middle east, with the hope to stabalize the entire region.

Yes, but I think that the most important war we are involved in right now is the invisible one that is being waged among all of the citizens of America who can't seem to get together and agree on anything at all anymore.

If we describe each oil-producing company with one of three adjectives:
before peak means that the production of oil will peak in the future
At peak
After peak means that the country has already passed its peak oil production and will produce less oil each year from now on..

The USA is past peak
Russia is past peak
Venezuela is even past peak, but not by much and they still produce a LOT of oil.

Iraq is the country that has the longest time to go before it passes its peak production. That is why I think we are at war

Jesus is coming back tomorrow or next week and Bush needs to make the holy land safe for his return.
At least that's the B.S. that the evangelicals heaped on Bush.
And like an idiot, he believes it.

Because we have an unreasonable egoist for a president, who will not back down from his mistake of putting us at war in the first place......weapons of mass destruction....what a joke, one that is getting our boys killed for no reason.
