I have a Wacom Intrus 3 Tablet that I absolutely adore, but lately I've been having some problems with it. The pen seems to 'drag'- meaning, I'll be drawing a line, and it should end when I take the pen away from the tablet- but instead it keeps going, even though the pen is only hovering OVER the tablet. I've tried adjusting the sensitivity settings and whatnot, but it doesnt make a difference- do you think my tablet is broken, or is this normal? Should I try to send it back and trade it for another one?

Advice would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

You can try re-installing the driver, or checking the website for updates that mey fix common bugs. You may also try testing the distance of the pen from the tablet, and its sensitivity.

I have a Wacom too, so I had a similar problem. If it doesn't work, let me know.

I have a wacom tablet as well and had a similar issue, but also would 'sense' the pen when it was only hovering over the tablet not making direct contact. What I ended up doing was uninstalling all the software for the tablet and reinstalling fresh. It seemed to fix all the issues with the tablet. Try giving that a shot before trading it in.

The pen draws when it's tip is pressed. I'm sure it's a driver issue but it might be something else... How do you hold your pen? If your fingers are very close to the tip, the program may think the pen is still pressed. Don't forget the the pen also draws when you push the thin button on it's handle. If you are holding it too tight you may accidentaly press it sometimes.
