Ugh...why do guys always say "I don't want anything?" Ok so my real question is what do i buy my 57 year old step father. he has every tool in the book. He's kind of a homebody. No real hobbies or past times. Profile: Vietnam veteran marine. Native American. not very active. somewhat into gadgets, but not the ipod, mp3 player type. He likes to tinker on things in the garage. Help!

Gee, I know what your talking about. I'm even at that age where I feel I have just about everything I need or want, so imagine what it is like to buy for my parents. He sounds like a real tough guy. But, even tough guys like to read something... How about going to a big book store and just wonder 'till you'll see something that will appeal to his tastes-maybe books on tinkering in garages... You never know, but it has worked for me when I am stumped. Sometimes you'll find some good old movies that he might relate to in these paces too. Hope this helps.

Get him some mens grooming products. There are alot of different packages with shave cream, face cream, etc, etc. ($100)
Or a Dyson Root 6 Hand Held Vacuum. ($150) would be good for a homebody...it looks pretty cool.
Air Purifier ($400)
Starbucks Coffee and coffee mugs.
Tempurpedic Slippers from Brookstone ($50 to $100)
Electric Nose Hai Drimmer ($100) from Sharper Image.

the first situation that got here to thoughts became that you need to get them tickets to a pair style of wearing journey, song live performance, and so on. I mean in the journey that they have got each and every thing already. Its only some thing different...you'd be providing them no longer a fabric situation (which they already grant for themselves besides) yet particularly you'd be providing them an adventure. I note of that which could be severe priced even with the truth that. I mean, in the journey that they are acquaintances and they prefer an identical situation then you need to get them seats at the same time. yet opportunities are severe its compared to that, so once you provide someone tickets you shoudl really provide them 2, that enables you to take someone with them to percentage the adventure with. once you've that funds then you need to bypass with them (at the same time at similar journey or one after the different at different activities) or you coudl tell them to %. whoever they want, your mom, a perfect pal, and so on. So getting off of the severe priced theory, and nonetheless noting that they have got each and every thing already, only get them somethign it extremely is own. Make it linked to some thing they quite like or opt to do, or some thing that symbolizes the bond between you 2. in case you bypass this route your dad and stepdad will quite like that you position idea into the present and made it some thing particular. Plus you'll discover thoughts to attempt this quite cost effectively, it extremely is, searching a present that isnt so severe priced, or perhaps making one your self. As a very last idea...is that on the brink of Christmas already? My how the 12 months has flown by...

It depends entirely on how much money you had. If you had quite qa lot, you could get him a pair of season tickets to his favourite sports team. If not, My best guess would be to ask your mom, she knows him better than you.

first of all.. I'm proud of your step-dad for being a veteran marine.
so anyways, i think you should get him cloths. or a ticket to the military base of the marines.
it would be really great to see your step day smiling there
