The amount of built-in memory that a camera has really means nothing. What matters with digital cameras is 1) how many megapixels the CCD has and 2) how well the camera makes use of the pixels.

For instance, if the CCD is only 640x480, you won't even be able to have the picture printed-- it's way too small, and will look horrible. 640x480 is less than 1/3 of a megapixel. The smallest that looks decent is 2.0 megapixels, which is 1600x1200. Of course, if you're only wanting something to send in e-mails, 640x480 is the perfect size.

2 mb of memory is not much at all. if you plan on using the camera in short periods of time then uploading the images, it would work fine. but if you plan on using the camera for an extended period of time you might buy a larger memory stick or a differnt camera.

If someone offers you a camera you should take it! My mom has one like you're describing and I've used it with good results. the problem with asking me is, I like my cameras old school and 35mm is for me. I don't see in pixels I see with light. I hope that helps.

yep ther pretty good,
nice pics if you put them on the right setting
you can send them to the laptop too
2MB isn't large but is enough for at least 5-20 pics
