No, I don't. I just think it's very hypocritical to kill someone for killing someone. If murder is wrong, I don't think the government should be doing it.

I've been told that life in prison is much harder then getting the capitol punishment. I was told that by someone that did serve time in prison. He also said, that was the thoughts of most of the prisoners, they rather be dead then know they would have to spend life in prison. So, I guess, if its life with no chance of parole they consider that a worse punishment.
I used to believe in it, but only if it was beyond any doubt that person did the crime. Think... at this point with the new D&A, how many people have been released because they now were found not guilty. So, we also know their have been people put to death that were innocent. You can't undo something if that person is dead and I couldn't live with that had I been on the jury that sentenced that person to death.
On the other hand if it was a member of your family that was brutaly murdered a person might have a whole different opinion.

Yes, but the person should be convicted beyond any reasonable doubt. There can not be even the slightest doubt that the person committed a capital crime.

there is not any "Inhumanity" interior the real international... in undemanding terms the products of events. i've got seen too many sufferers. I say "Yea" for Capital Punishment for -- -- Molestation -- Embezzlement -- Stealing from yet another -- Bilking the elderly out of their decrease fee rates. -- economic business enterprise theft -- attack (huge section) -- Political Propaganda -- Disrespect ...and something deemed extra effective offenses, than those listed. the only factor that I merchandise to with Capital Punishment, is that it fairly is basically too rapid. Edit -- "139 different wrongly convicted people" 139 harmless people died, for considered one of Nature's many "unfairnesses," whilst I wrote this sentence. 139 is small sacrifice (and that i comprise myself), to wipe each and all of the Stench-ridden illness of Crime, out of Society. As for the the remainder of that"Tripish Essay" -- rasberry residing... is a raffle. Edit -- I even have completely replaced my ideas. because of the fact the "threat" of an harmless individual might desire to be accomplished -- No "harmless" individual could could bear ONE 2nd in the back of Bars. it fairly is frightening, it fairly is bigoted, once you at the instant are not in charge. consequently to determine No harmless individual has to circulate with the aid of the Trauma of reformatory (and it fairly is annoying Peepz!!) -- Then all prisoners could be set unfastened and Jails, Prisons, & Penitentiaries, abolished :)

I used to, but not anymore, but the system in place HAS convicted and executed innocent people. Every Month or two I read of someone convicted and on death row who is found to be innocent. Its pretty obvious that this government cant be trusted with anyones life

why not? lets face the reality when someone of your loveone takes his/her life and then the court will say that it was absolved? would you feel ok? life is life. when one is taken and then the respective punishment therefore is definitely be done. This is not about being humane or what because this punishment is only given to the most deserving individual who are criminals.

I believe, solitary confinement is better grounds for punishment than the death sentence.
The death sentence, in a sense, is a get out of jail free card.

I see nothing wrong with it. An eye for an eye right? But I think it is better to make the person suffer for a long time for what they have done. It is worse to have to live with what you have done but if the person has no remorse for taking someone's life then they should be killed off pretty quick.

No, I think a better punishment is living out the rest of your life, contemplating the horrific crime committed in solitary confinement.
