I am a 49 year old single Dad, and live in Richmond BC, and I have heard this said before about Vancouver, but I don't find it a problem to meet people for friendship etc, but tend to shy away from it because my first responsibility is to my son, so I tend to hang with him (he's 15 now). But I do love to go for coffee etc and love to talk or listen, and am a good problem solver so it would be fun to meet you and have some laughs. Please note that I repect the fact that you are married and am only interested in platonic friendships, so I will send you and E-mail if you like, and we can be pals if you like.
