I can see ADSL Speed (DS/US) 8096/448 Kbps - but how does that translate into a choice of xx/128k? or xx/256k? etc etc when choosing an upload speed appropriate for the connectiont. I am using utorrent to download. Thanks for your help!

It will only tell you the maximum upload or download speed that is offered on your connection without a trip......You dont have to change any of those settings but however you can change the settings on your utorrent application to set the upload and download speed......on your ADSL the upload speed is generally slower than the download speed because it is assumed that you use the connection to download more than you upload....if you want to use more upload speed on your connection then you need to contact your ISP provider for the same.....Hope that helps......

You don't need to determine the upload speed as long as your stuff is uploaded. Sorry, but don't waste your time calcilating minicule details
