yes for a teenager or younger person its a good starter job you seat people and take tickets but when i did it i got to see an incredeble amount of concerts wrestl;ing matches and such for free..nice gig..

It's a great job for people who enjoying seeing shows/concerts, but it does not pay anything, unless you usher in a movie theater or music concert (like Cher, etc). It is a good job for young people who need to gain work experience.
An usher escorts people to their seats, and guards the doors after a show has begun.
