When I was a little girl in Brownies, the leader's 2 daughters belonged, also. Their names were Aurelia & Aurora. I always thought those 2 names were just beautiful, especially the name, Aurora. The Aurora Borealis. Have you ever seen it? To experience that is one of my wishes in life. Aurora Sky is just a perfect name, a well thought of name.

I think it's horrible and if I were a 35 year old woman with a name like Aurora Sky I would be pissed.

I like it. I love Sky or Skye but Aurora is a little bit of a mouthful...especially if your last name starts with an R!

Sky is fine I guess, but Aurora is the name of a town in Missouri and also the name of a car made by Buick. Look a little longer. FOR HER SAKE!!!!

Aurora means-Goddess of the Dawn
Sky is an American name that has no meaning *other than a reference to the sky*

Goddess of the Dawn Sky.

nice ring to it.

i personally don't like Sky (or Skye)

but it's creative, cute..and flows well!

It's a beautiful name. It can give the perception that your child is from a hippy generation. On the other hand, you could add an Italian middle name (Aurora is the Italian name for Dawn) and it would give a different perception. My suggestion is to give her a different or additional middle name that's more ordinary sounding so she can have the option to use that if she wants.

Ok where did you ever get the idea you can make an inanimate object a name? Only the Stephani's can get away with that. Aurora, did you really like Sleeping Beauty when you were growing up?

I actually don't mind Aurora too much... I think Aurora Sky is a little too "matchy-matchy" ... you know with the Aurora Borealis star thing .... but in all, not bad!

I LOVE that name! Beautiful...

My daughter's name is Skylar, but we call her Sky.
And we were thinking of using the name Skylar Aurora, but I love the name Aurora so much that I wanted to save it just in case I have another child and it's a girl. =)
