I'm making jarred goods for the Holidays this year. I've done a few hot coco/ coffee mixes, a few soup mixes, and a few cookie mixes. They are really cute, and you can dress up the jars with ribbons and fabric. And when they make whatever is in the jar they will think of you.
It's pretty cheap too.

If you are totally stuck, and have absolutely no idea what to get for that person, I would almost always reccoment gift cards. Most people I know would prefer Starbucks cards, cause almost everyone loves it ^_^
If they are little kids, there are lots of good sites you can get to with gift reccomendations. You can also do what I do and check on Amazon costomer reviews when you click on an item you think the kid might like, to see what other people think of it, and if it's worth buying.
If all else fails, just think about what the person likes to do in their spare time, or what hobbies they have. Handmade gifts work as well. Try making gift-baskets for friends and family. It's a great way to let them know that you care about them enough to spend time on making something for them <3

Anything hand made, like if you sew, quilts are fast and easy. If not, pictures is where it's at. Kinko's has cheap stuff where you can make calanders with pictures of yourself or family, etc. Also, Wal-Mart has photo mugs, photo ties, photo galore! Or making a DVD of pictures with music to it. It's suprisingly simple with the right computer program you can get from Best Buy. I'm broke this year so pretty much everyone is getting something that I made, but very personal. Hope you find the right present :)

I give these out to all my friends and co workers and they love them. Awesome stocking stuffers as well and very affordable and good sale going on.
Beware, you will get many calls on how to get more or where to buy them.
