Fish. Any other pet will make messes and smell. Cats have litterboxes which smell and get litter outside of the box. Dogs have that natural dog smell (though there are sprays and wipes you can use to hide it) and will bark at least from time to time.

An aquarium with different types of fish is pretty cool, but the water does smell after a couple of weeks, so you have to clean it pretty regularly. Cats are ok, but the litter box does smell, unless it is an outside cat. Hope this helps some. Good luck!!

Hi I think a rat or guinea pig (i know wat ur probably thinking "eewww yuk rat diseases!! A pet rat is more clean than a street rat, and would have to be one of the cleanest pets around) but it would be ideal to ur needs. The cage is easy to clean (approx every 3-4 days) and if u get it used 2 water u can even bath it!! They are also easy to feed and make no noise....The most u have to do is love & play with it!!!!

wow, this will depend on how much work you want to put into your pet ? many small pets do not smell if you clean their cage every week. things like, hermit crabs, mice, hamster, gerbil, Ginnie pig, snakes or reptiles, even turtles(clean this tank more), fish and i could keep going on, but it's really depends on the time you have to spare & what you like! congrats on what ever you decide and i wish you then best! :)

I had a bearded dragon... so long as you keep the substrate clean and the cricket cage clean then there is minimal smell, they're hypoallergenic, and very freindly

Maybe a Leopard Gecko or a Hampster? They are small, aren't loud, and are pretty easy to care for.
