Because there are billions of stars out there...as for wet paint, I smell it first, touch second.

Because you can't count the stars to prove them wrong- it's far too tedious and impossible. But wet paint- that's an easy one. And it's human nature to prove our fellow human wrong. That's how competition was born.

because you obviously can't count all the stars to make sure... its easier to just accept it as truth. The wet paint, though, THAT we can touch to make sure lol

When astronomers do that division, they get 200 billion stars in the Milky Way--that's 200,000,000,000!
