Snoring is not just a nuisance for your bedmate (or, in extreme cases, for your neighbor). It can be a sign of a serious medical disorder called sleep apnea. The first issue to address regarding chronic snoring is whether this is a symptom of sleep apnea.
1. Use a single low pillow
2.tell him to sleep on his stomach, since snoring is less likely to occur in this position
3.Adopt a healthy lifestyle. Extra weight, smoking, alcohol and drugs all exacerbate snoring
4.Consult your doctor
5.Try an over-the-counter nasal strip
6.Ask his dentist about using an oral appliance designed to reduce snoring
best wishes ;)

I've been there and it is no fun. Is there another room you can sleep in? Sometimes they snore so loud they sound like barnyard animals and you can even here them from another room. There is an operation (nose plugs don't work) where they trim the epiglottis (its that hangy thing in the back of your throat that you can see when you open your mouth wide.) This is supposed to treat snoring. You could try using ear plugs, but you really have to put them in there snugly, or you can still hear him snoring. But if you can fall asleep before he does, then you won't hear his snoring. Also, notice if he snores when he sleeps on his back, side, or stomach, and tell him to roll over. Good luck!!

I have the same problem with my husband(lol). there is 3 things u can try. usually my husband snores alot when he works too much.
1. either give him a nice back massgae for maybe 10-15minutes and he will sleep all night like a baby.
2. buy those snoring patches( walgreens, cvs, or any pharmacy).
3. or if its something that has always happened, maybe is something that he should check with a doctor, maybe he is not breathing well and not getting enough air.
4. sleeping on his side is better or on his stomach if he's lying on his back its why he could be snoring.
good luck

If he's overweight, encouraging him to lose weight will likely help.
Get him to roll over - snoring is usually worse if you're sleeping on your back.
Consider going to a Sleep Clinic and see about getting a CPAP. Snoring can sometimes be bad enough that it has health repercussions.
And I second the "ear plugs can help" suggestion. I got some and they help quite a bit. They're inexpensive, too. I got the yellow foam ones (not plastic) from the hunting section of our local Bass Pro Shop.

Every one snores after certain age. It is not an issue. Sleep in a separate room if it disturbs your sleep. You should realise that some day you will also be snoring. Imagine how your children will suffer 2 non stop sirens every night.

Well .... Duct tape works - Police hate when you use that one.
The pillow over the face works too - Cops hate that one too.
Now if your talking cut little cat purring snore ..... just go aughhhh and live with it ......If your sleeping with a broken chain saw .... have a "Sleep Apnea" study done ...... He's broken and needs repair from a authorized repair technician.
Good Luck ... hope he's still under warranty
