I'm considering buying a 30 gig video IPod. I have several movies on my computer, however most are DivX fotmatted . Will this work on the IPod or will I have to buy overpriced movies from the average collection of movies on Itunes?

The iPod doesn't support DivX, but they can easily be converted. There are thousands of converters on the web that'll convert the videos for free, so you can go ahead and buy your iPod if you want.

Nope. That is why iPods are inferior to other portable video players. You would have to convert it over to MPEG-4 format.
