Is there a custom of religion or tradition when they spread ashes over the earth or sprinkle in their garden or land? Is this the custom of Indians, Japanese or orientals. What does the custom means. Some people just keep the ashes in their homes in what kind of jar? Explain something about the ashes to me.

Different cultures have different customs. The ashes of the deceased may be kept in the home of a loved one, or may be put in a small vault in a cemetery. Most of the time, I've known people who spread the ashes in a favorite place of the deceased individual; none of the people that I knew had any particular religious belief about where the ashes were to be spread or placed - they just didn't want to be buried. Some religions forbid embalming and cremation (this is true of both Islam and Judaism), believing that the body should return naturally to the earth. I personally associate cremation mostly with Asian cultures, but people of many other cultures use this option as well.

The body is place in an incineration chamber, the heat is turned up to a minimum of 1400 degrees f and usually no more than 2100 degrees f. This is sufficient temperature for all the remains to be turned into ashes. Any metallic prostheses would be in the ashes, tooth filling will melt, break down and mix with the ashes.

the body or cadaver is burned by the crematory oven and the bones are broken up with the remaining ashes which are either spread as requested or just given to the family in an urn . Some keep the urn of ashes in a mausoleum.

In hinduism , it is a belief live sourcu came from the ocean. Billions of years ago the earth was covered with water. As times goes by land form because of land movement. This is proven in science. Life is belief to have form from the ocean itself. So technically has times goes human being began to take place on earth. The only way to return to its origin is by cremation and seeding the ash to the sea and the land. The body has gone thru many suffering when it was alive. Now to return back to mother nature we go back as ash to ash and dust to dust.
