It depends on how old... Anyways, the Beatles are amazing... pretty much everything (but some good ones are "I've Just Seen a Face," "She Loves You," "I am the Walrus," "Here Comes the Sun," etc...). Led Zepellin is great-- Stairway to Heaven is everybody's favorite, but a few other good ones are Since I Been Loving You, Whole Lotta Love, and Ten Years Gone. Bob Dylan's always good (Just Like a Woman, Like a Rolling Stone, etc...). If you want a different kind of music, Otis Redding is amazing (These Arms of Mine, Try a Little Tenderness, Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay, ....). The Guess Who is good, so is The Who, Simon and Garfunkle (if you like folk), The Byrds, etc... There's so many good bands...

Pretty much anything by the beatles.
Although their later stuff, about 1967 onwards got a little weird.
Probably the best of the beatles oldies were between 1960 and 1965.

My favorite song of all time is "Runaway" by Del Shannon. And the Beatles are great. I also love Bill Haley and the Comets.
