Ok, I just have a quick question. I'm thinking about shaving my legs/chest. I already shave my pubs. My bf says that the hair is ok, and that he likes it, but...I don't know if he's just saying that, or if he means it. I personaly think it looks ugly. What is your opinion on body hair for men?

Just as a add on, in case you were wondering, I'm not like uber hairy, just a little, but I still thought this question was worth asking, so ya.

Shaving everything can become very labor intensive, as the hair grows back pretty quickly. And it begins to itch - especially on the legs, as I found out after my first (and only) attempt at shaving/Nairing those. These days I have barely enough patience to shave my chest and naughty bits.
If you're trying to shed all your body hair, you might want to try waxing it. Unless you've got a high pain threshold and a lot of willpower, get a professional's help with this! Waxing will pull the hair out by the root, which is an indelicate procedure, but it will take much longer to grow back in, and it will feel softer as it does.
Your boyfriend may be giving you his honest opinion. My ex-bf had a dense blanket of chest hair, which I actually liked on him. It didn't grow in weird, isolated strands (like mine) and it was very soft. I loved to stroke it. Then he shaved it all off - to get a better tan, I think - and I definitely missed its presence. The whole front of his torso felt like sandpaper for the next week!
But it's your body, and you should feel free to experiment with what you think looks good. Fortunately, all body hair grows back, so even if you screw something up you won't have to live with it for too long.

You really have to think about what makes you feel better. Personally I like the clean look, ie, no chest or back hair, but I like the legs and a little where most never see. But it's all up to you.
(What you want to do IS a lot of work and if your BF is okay with the hair then save yourself the trouble)

My friend started shaving his legs and really regrets it now. It takes a lot of up-keep, and I personally think that the feeling of a furry leg/chest is better than a bit of prickly regrowth. Up to you though. Why do you think it looks ugly? I'm sure he's not lying when he says he likes it, he'll still adore you either way.

Keep the hair. I really think hairlessness is a fad that is already on the way out.
And unless you plan to shave every day be ready for some incredible itching from the stuble.

I'm a natural smoothie, and I am seriously not into hairy guys. But, I dislike nubs even more than hair, so if you're not willing to keep smooth, then keep the fur trimmed but not shaved.

There's nothing sexier than a guy with a waxed chest! Lots of chest and leg hair isn't attractive. As for pubic hair, trim it up real nice and neat. Hairless looks sexy and clean.
If I were you I would wax it instead of shaving it off. If you wax it off you won't get razor burn, which is unsightly and painful. If you don't want to wax it yourself you can go to a salon and pay to have to waxed off.

I read that you think its ugly, if you don't like it then shave it off. Seems your boyfriend doesn't care so do what you feel comfortable with. I keep my body shaved because I like it that way.

I'd give it a shot. If you or he really does'nt like it, one simply lets it grow back. I had the same dilemma years ago, but finally gave it a shot. ;-) Been a smoothie ever since.. (actually had laser hair removal done, so never have to shave).

I'm a hairy guy who generally prefers smoother guys, but there is nothing more repulsive that stubble on legs, chest, butt, wherever.
Why can't guys just be happy with the way they are?

i think of straightening your hair is super. it quite is a competent concept to apply some variety of a keeping product which will save your hair from being broken however. the bright warmth can destroy your hair. To be uncomplicated the terrific straighteners are the costliest, I desire Chi irons.
