Can someone hlp me with this? I can't find how Athens and Sparta differed economically... does anyone know?

Sparta controlled the southern Peloponnese, which had the most farmland in Ancient Greece. As far as Greece went, Sparta was the 'breadbasket', and thus was more of an agricultural society.

Athens, on the other hand, quickly became a naval power, becoming wealthy via it's naval trade, and control of mines throughout Attica.
