It's actually not at Disneyland, it's at California Adventure. It's right next to Disneyland, and you only have to buy a ticket to one park. Soarin' Over California is VERY fun, very lifelike. Try to sit in the front row, otherwise you'll see a row of sneakers at the top of the screen. It's so cool though! Have fun!

Hi! In California Adventure, Soarin' is one of the best rides! It really couldn't be considered a "thrill ride" because it doesn't go as fast as a roller~coaster for example. Once you are seated, you are pulled up to this HUGE screen, to give more of the illusion that you are flying. Your feet dangle (or course!) and you "vist" the Golden Gate Bridge, an orange valley, and a forest. You can smell the salt in the air when you pass the beach, and you can smell the evergreen trees in the forest. It's a really awsome ride! Have fun!

It's an excellent ride and one of Disney's most popular. You ride in these "gliders" over the state of California. The film projected in the attraction uses IMAX projection systems with high-speed, high-definition Omni-max film projectors. It seems so real. When you fly over the mountains you smell the evergreen trees, and when you fly over the orange groves you smell the fresh oranges. The best part is the end, though! (Won't spoil it.) I haven't been to Disneyland, but I go to Walt Disney World each summer and they built the same Soarin' attraction at EPCOT a few years ago.

Have a great vacation!

This ride is freaking fun. It's not a new ride. It's not in Disneyland. It's in California Adventures right across from Disneyland but it's still Disney. Soaring over California has been around for six years. It's not NEw.

Coming from an Anaheim resident, it is thrilling but tame experience. Although this ride is not new, it has been here for over 5 years.

WARNING: Do not go on this ride if you have a fear of flying or of heights!

i went on soarin at disney world, and it was fun. the wait time said 45 minutes, so we waited and it took two hours! then we got seated in the back row and you could see a lot of peoples feet hanging in front of you, so it kind of takes away from the expirience
