ok i worked in KFC before ... the chickens are treated VERY VERY poorly ... Yes it is true that the chickens are kicked and thrown around before they are killed ....
But when the chicken comes into the restaurant it is not frozen and it never gets frozen, it come in a refrigerated truck, and we just store it in the walk in freezer !
The chicken only stays in the store for one day !

even the BF, who will eat anything, balks at eating KFC chicken. He just told me horror stories about the mutant chickens (genetically engineered to have big breasts, small feet and small to non-existant beaks) that make me real glad I'm a vegetarian.
He says the answer to the question is that the chickens aren't inhumanely treated... since they aren't chickens at all. The genetically engineered freak fowls they use, however, are probably treated horribly.

I would imagine that the chickens are not treated great, they are just raised for eating. If you would like to read up on it, peta has a really interesting web site. What you read, might be a little disturbing though.

I would stay away from KFC until they figure out/resolve the whole issue.
So in a way, a yes answer can be used for your question.

As far as i knew, they chicks r all mutants!!.. in fact, i got the e mail showing the pics.. the so called chicks actually r no longer a chicken (like our teachers taught).. it was a featherless chicken.. since it was borned..can u imagine, how does it look like?...soo bad...

Yeah, they purposely spend more money to look for sick chickens and sell as 99 cent sandwhich.

i heard that people were caught punting them like foot balls in the place where they keep all of them caged. I REALLY hope it is a myth. That is so messed up. How sad.

well who knows what goes inside the kitchen, right?..but when my bro was in Kualalumpur, he said they treated it vey well, stale chicken were thrown out always...after 24 hours.....hahahahah!! why u wanna know that?

umm no. this is a myth from PETA.
Chickens were put on this Earth for us to eat, not pamper and provide a loft style condo.
