Check out www.wikipedia.com. These questions are very basic and should be easily found. If you typed in "nucleic acids" you would see that only DNA and RNA (deoxyriboNUCLEIC ACID and riboNUCLEIC ACID) are nucleic acids while proteins are not. If you would type in "codon", you would see that you will get a whole chart of all the typical codons and can see how many letters they have.

Wow, you mean they expect you to know all this by yourself and didn't like give you a biology book or something where you could actually study and find the answers?
