Is there a safe and reliably producy, or is it safer to use just plain warm water??

you should have read the directions when you got it. you are only to use LCD cleaning kits that are sold every where. NEVER-NEVER-NEVER use windex unless you have the bucks to buy a new one.

Plain old water...if even that. Try a soft dry cloth first.

Never apply anything with alcohol. A few companies offer products, but I've never found them better than a little warm water on a soft towel.

Dampen a clean, soft, lint-free cloth or paper with water only and wipe the screen. Do not spray liquid directly on the screen.

Water in spray bottle, with 100% cotton cloth. Works well but cleaning a lcd is ****ing hasle. Takes me atleast 30 mins to make it look perfect. Make sure the cloth is clean too... Or your going to be spending all day on it.

Dont pour any water
there is a screen cleaner solution it is like spray apply little in the screen directly and them clean it by tissues paper

Do Not use a product with ammonia or alcohol, like window cleaner. It will ruin your screen. There are commercial products like Klear Screen, made for cleaning LCD screens.

i use to have a laptop and i cleaned it with regular windex and it done alright.just dont put a whole glob on your hanky or your towel it will mess it up!but i had to get rid of my laptop b/c of the money situation.which i hated!i loved it and i want it back!boo hoo hoo!naw,but seriously,you can use windex cleaner to clean it.

i use water with a little handsoap on a paper towel....wipe it dry with a dry paper towel
