Ignore some of the rude comments. No I think it is typical, especially if you wanted the relationship to work. Me and my hubby were thinking of getting a divorce about a month ago and I had no intention to date whatsoever. Once you are in a relationship and get hurt, you do not want to get hurt again. Plus, it takes time to fall in love again and trust someone else with your heart. My advice to you is stay focused and love will come to you again. However, at this time, you are not ready to give your heart to anyone else and that is all that it is. Take all of the time you need. Divorce is devastating!

I'm currently going through divorce...CAN'T WAIT UNTIL ITS OVER! I have been in a situation where I was constantly accused of everything...so I really want to enjoy and get some new friends to hang out with. Its kinda scary to think of the whole dating thing but I think you will know when its right for you. I am looking forward to life after but it still feels really different. Surround yourself with good people who will look out for you! You still have to find "YOU" sometimes we lose ourselves in relationships.

I think it is very natural. After my divorce I didn't want to date. I just wanted to take time for myself and enjoy life.

yes its very natural. this is a moment where u need ur space to clear ur thoughts. dating right now is not the answer. keep yourself busy, whether its playing sports, going to gym or any hobbies u have. be around friends and family and the dating will happen when the ime is right. right now worry about u and getting ur self together.

It sounds natural to me, now is the time for you to get to know yourself better and work on you. After any relationship end you are going to have some baggage that you are going to have to work through.

Yes, it is natural. You have to grieve for the loss of your marriage. It will take time for you to adjust. Don't try to rush it.
