YES....this has happened before though....there's always been a girl who does AMAZING during the entire show, like melrose, who had consistently great pictures and basically SEALED THE DEAL with her FANTASTIC performance in the final runway challenge, which caridee basically FAILED, and then they chose caridee after she took one good picture ?!?! Oh well, it's their LOSS

yep, i'm so dissapointed that Melrose didn't came out top! Was wondering why the judges kept contradicting what they said - i thot they like Melrose all along! Weird...
I like Caridee too, but she's too drag queen. Anyway, feel the next top model show is so edited and biased. It really doesn't matter if u take gd pics, won challenges or do a gd runway in the end, it's all up to the judges. Haha. Btw, I REALLY don't feel Melrose is fake, but they just gang up on her to make her look like one. Guess poor Melrose. Think she shld go expand on and be a fashion designer instead!

Yes, I am disappointed. I cannot believe that they didn't let Melrose win because she was everything they were looking for. What more did they need? Caridee is not that smart, and isn't keen on directions, while Melrose always makes it a point to do what she's told.
Most of the pictures shown were Melrose's not-so-good ones too.

Very. Caridee won because the judges liked her more. Not for more talent. Not because she was better than Melrose. It was because she was more likable which is ironic because Melrose was everything they bitched about the others not having: passion for being a model, intelligence making an effort, having a personality. I wanted Melrose to win but I'm glad she didn't lose to Eugenia.

I definitely was disappointed. Melrose had the whole package - Caridee performed dismally at the finale runway show. The judges thought Caridee was a loose cannon & unpredictable (a good thing for some) but I thought she was a jealous snot & dull. Caridee just doesn't have a face that I will remember in a couple of months. Melrose would have represented ANTM better than any other girl this season. Too bad.

I'm not disappointed Melrose didn't win America's Next Top Model. I didn't like her personality - she was rather snooty and arrogant. I'm glad Caridee won. She is a natural beauty and has a nice personality. Caridee has what it takes to be a model.

I think Melrose should have won. She tried harder, performed better throughout the course of the competition, and has a much more unique look than Caridee who looks just like any other average, pretty blonde girl.

rite from the beginning you could tell that melrose was an absolute fake *****. she came into the competition not caring about anyone but herself, and pushed everyone around so she could win. she basically MANIPULATED her way through this competition. thats not how your supposed to win. sure, she has a few good photographs, but isnt she kind of too old to be a model? she looks older than tyra if you ask me, shell be growing gray hairs before her 1st contract. not everyone can be a perfectionist, and thats all she thought about the all the time, getting it perfect and thats just so fake.
caridee on the other hand definitely deserved it out of anyone, she was consistent, and her personality is amazing. i think a person who has passion like her should definitely win, thats why the judges chose her, cuz she wasnt fake like melrose.

Definitely not. I agree that she took great pictures, but her attitude was far from acceptable. CariDee appears to have more qualities of a role model. Melrose's behaviour was sub par and she was far too ego maniacal. CariDee looks like she actually wanted to be there and was genuinely happy to win.

Very disappointed. Rather than give the contract to the girl who did the best runway, best foreign language commercial, and the majority of the best photos, they award it to the high maitenance train wreck who was twice in the bottom two and didn't even finish one assignment. Nonsensical decisions like this are why the fashion industry is loathed and mad fun of. My sister got me into this show this season, and I won't ever watch again. I guess Caridee was wrong - Nigel never did remove that stick.
