Question: What effect do different chemicals have on the conductivity of water.

Materials several jars (every chemistry lab has appropriate jars and if you have to you can use small jars from home).

A rubber stopper that will fit the jars

The stopper should be a two hole stopper with holes big enough to pass coper wire or tubing through.

Wire and clips to attach tubing if you use tubing. About one inch of bare wire will work

Insert 2 wires through the stopper until about one inch is in the liquid.

Use a battery and an amp meter. All physics labs have amp meters.

Connect the battery and amp meter in series with the two wires through the stopper. Be sure the wires do not touch each other.

Fill one bottle with distilled (or demonized water) and place the stopper in the bottle and observe the action of the amp meter.

Then in another bottle place a few grains of table salt. Just a very small amount. Again measure the results.

You can do this experiment with as many chemicals as you like that are water soluble. I suggest table sugar, salt, lemon juice. Do not use NaOH (Drano) or HCl unless your instructor tells you to do that.

Remember to keep the amount of dissolved material small and if the project is to be where other students can use it get your instructor to show you how to use a fuse or circuit breaker so the experiment will not be left in operation unsupervised. The fuse can be replaced. The lab cant.

Project title:
camote leaves extract as an alternative coloring materials
Difficulty level: High school
Main link: None

Hypothesis:
1. there is no significant difference on the effectiveness of the coloring material based on the application to different types of paper.

Materials:

1. camote leaves extract
2. crushed white candles
3. cornstarch
4. cheesecloth
5. mortar and pestle
6. beaker
7. vegetable oil

The Procedure:

Collection and Preparation

The camote leaves were gathered early in the morningto preserve its freshness. Before extraction, it was washed in a tap water to remove unwanted insects and particles. Then it was strained to remove the excess water. The extraction process begins.

Production of Coloring Material

The extract was obtained by pounding the leaves with mortar and pestle and strained with a cheesecloth. In a 100g of camote leaves, the extract only reached 50ml in a 600ml beaker. The extract was mixed with 100mg of crushed white candle and three drops of vegetable oil. After mixing, the extract was heated to dissolve the candle and stirred thoroughly until the colored solution was mixed with the wax. After the wax turned green, unmixed color were separated by a cornstarch. Cornstarch absorbs water content on the extract. The colored wax was poured on the molder.

Results:

The result shows that the effectiveness of the product produced depend on the thickness of the paper. the thicker the paper, the more visible is the color and the thinner the paper, the lighter is the color and vice-versa.
The color produced was only color-green.

I not know as I have never done this; How does magnetics affect light? Can Light be Bent by Magnetics?
Not sure if that what you want?
Take a Laser Pointer and have it mounted secure so it point at a grid (Graph Paper). Using as strong a magnet or electro-magnet as you can find. Use the magnet at various points along the Laser Beam and try to move the beam to another point on your grid/graph paper. Try to see any small change. If, you could find someone that could lend you a powerful electro-magnet, that be even better. Maybe some industrial supply, tell them what you need it for.

relies upon on what grade you're in yet right it is a good one. Sleep Deprivation Human matters are perfect yet in case you could not get no volunteers rats will do try their information in hand eye coordination concentration and memory You try this with techniques from giving elementary try and video taping them besides as taking specified notes. then you truly began the Sleep Deprivation after 3 days try and video tape and take specified notes of the topics information to preform theses projects after being disadvantaged of sleep be confident to record on your notes the speed of each and every reaction previously hand and after For the memory section a distinct decision try it truly is the exact same a the only given previously hand is optimum and for the most objective have the topics study a short e book and record and note their eye moves also record and note which difficulty do no make it although the project and the time they failed for hand, eye try use some thing tender like a coastline ball and toss it to them recording and noting % reaction and skill to cacth the ball Make you notes into an eye fixed-catching presentation write your findings on index playing cards and position them with the presentation and skim them once you tutor the video. that is relaxing to di and could probably win.

You could try... How does gravity affect different objects?
Expirement with different items and drop them from a second story. Compare the timing on each different item and make your thesis something like... I believe gravity makes different sized objects with different mass drop at the same time. Then do the expirement and write your results! Hope I helped!
