i can rip cds to my player but when i try to burn music from my player it says"no cd or dvd burner has been detected...press F5 to refresh player, when i do this,nothing happens & it still does not recognize a recording device. i also checked out my burner with my computer & it says that this device is working properly.help me please!

I dont know what version of WMP u use.
I use WMP 11.
There is a option to select ur drive on right top side.
You have to insert a blank cd first.
Why not you try nero burning rom?
May be you have to update ur media player
You can check ur burner by trying to write something else on it.

Use an alternate program to burn. WMP stinks.... try Nero

could be you have to download first then tranfer to dvd or cd
