Check to see if the vents are closed . If not your ducts could have become damaged or disconnected. To test shut off vents that are blowing air, then check to see if air is now coming from the vents that weren't working. If done for more than a few minutes this will probably cause your furnace to become too hot so act quickly. Better yet if your thermostat has a fan only switch use that. The person suggesting you need a 100,000 BTU furnace is probably wrong unless you live in an extremely cold part of the country. Good luck.

Check the BTU rating of the heater against the square footage of the home. I think you need somewhere near 100000BTU for a 1000 sq ft living space.

The vents might not be opened or try vacuuming out some of the dust on the vents or use a swiffer duster to clean the vents..If none of the above work you might need to call a repairman.
