Racial Classification is not a good thing, because it divides people intead of uniting them. Simply getting along these days is difficult enough withougt lumping everyone into categories based on their skin color or country of origin.

It is useful to those who find racism profitable such as Jesse Jackson and the NAACP.
It promotes division among different types of people. Look close enough and you will see that any truly successful Black American has risen above the simple definition of race to become a success on their own merit, completely indestinguishable from their peers regardless of race or class.

In case of medical data, yes. Because different disorders affect different races.
In terms of social data, to a degree. Not much point having billboards advertising Palmer's coconut butter in middle class white neighbourhoods.

For social programs, absolutely not. For a census, medical data, or things of that nature, then yes.

If you're talking about affirmative action programs such as for school admissions, socio-economic class is much better.

Yes. Its a way of making sure the 'right people' get accepted into your college, and have first access to govt jobs and programs, afterward.

according to many sociologist there is no true proof of race. it is scientifically and biologically impossable to prove the existance of race.

If you are using it for census work yes it is.
If you are using it to profile for racist reasons then no.
