yes it is, even though he is your husband he still needs your permission and yes it is considered rape. Leave that relationship immediately, it is wrong don't allow this abuse to continue!

I think it is because it shows he lacks respect for you.. Respect is very important in a relationship, and perhaps your husband doesn't respect women? Usually men treat their wives, the way they saw their father treating their mothers; so tell me, does your husbands dad act like he respects your husbands mom? I'd guess not..
I have no idea what you should "do" about this, except stop drinking. Because drinking to that extend opens your life up to people not respecting you.. Get to an AA meeting. I did. It was hard to do, but I'm glad I did. I think if you did, you would see your husband (who obviously drinks too much too,) in a different light.
