I'm a Cancer, I seem to go through phases... yeah, my longest lasting most real relationship was a sagitarrius, and it was as you said, the worst combination. But in middle school I had this virgo phase, it was like, virgo, virgo, virgo, all virgo 1's born in the same week too. My best match communicationswise is this gay ex boyfriend/im buddy I have who I talk to for hours and hours and we know all our deepest secrets. He's a scorpio. Currently I have an Aquarius crush, and I just had one back in early October too who I clicked with and texted back and forth 390 times who I almost went out with, and then we just stopped being like that and now we playfully hate eachother. My other Aquarius crush used to be mean to me in sixth grade yet kind of like me, and we had this deep relationship imwise and lately it's just stopped because he's busy. In other words? Aquarius's are really close, passionate soulmates for a bit and then they drift away, they're not always reliable. Virgos never seem to work out as more than crushes, Scorpios and Capricorns are both good gay friends, Capricorns are more quirky and punkish and sarcastic yet nice, Scorpios are more needy and emotional and similar to Cancers.

I may not be a Cancer but I think Cancers are a great match with people under the signs of Pisces, Taurus, Virgo and Scorpio. Hope this helps.

So far it has been Scorpio, we get along very well but..they want to be in control all the time, as cancers are not really that way.
Where we are more laid back they are a little more anxious, also both signs are kind of moody but a Scorpio is a little insensitive to a cancers feelings. Other than that I have gotten along pretty well with them all, good connection but you have to just let them be right sometimes!

I've never been in a relationship with pisces or scorpio even tho we're said to be great combination..but I did have connection with Leos and Virgos..Leos are simply fun people and loyal, always trying to progress relationship to another level... And Virgos, they are intellectual and can understand me really well.
Saggitarius is fun to be with but it takes alot to keep the relationship going with a Cancer. The worst combination for me would be Gemini.

I dont know about best match. M a cancer female married to a Gemini, having a rough time. It's his infidelity that i cant tolerate and highly egoistical..I ignored the pathetic part of him and focus on the good side eg his intellect and sociable skills. Its been 14 yrs already..though i wonder, how much longer can i hold on..

I'm a cancer and my hubby is a Sag. It takes a lot of work with our signs clashing. My best match was an ex who was a Scorpio. Talk about sparks!!!!

In my opinion, it's best to stick with the signs that are in your element; so water with water, fire with fire etc. The reason for this is because you relate to the world and to each other on the same level. Generally speaking, water signs live in their emotions, air signs live in their intellect, earth signs are interested primarily in material matters and fire signs are here for a good time. Mix and match those and you'll quickly see why the other elements won't work so well for you. Imagine someone who lives in their emotions married to someone who lives in their intellect...... you would find them cold and emotionally unfulfilling and they would find you illogical and too emotional for their taste. So with you being a water sign, for my money, you would be best matched with another Cancerian, a Pisces or a Scorpio.

I married a Gemini. We have been together at total of three and a half years. Soooo happy. Best relationship I have ever had. And I read that we are not supposed to be a match...so I guess you never know! :-)

Uh-oh! I feel for you. My mom is a Cancer; she married a Sag. I don't really believe in astrology, but theirs was one relationship where the stereotypes lined up perfectly....and things did not end well.
Her best match was, she said, an Aquarius. She dumped him, though. She was young and stupid and thought he was boring. :P But he treated her well and loved her very much. I think it was sad.
