Look in the fractions for multiple of 3's.

Number 1, and numbers 9 and 10 can be reduced by 3. Any fraction where the top and bottom numbers are even can be reduced by two (divided in half), that would be numbers 5 and 8. Number 2 is a multiple of 5.

That should help, you should practice doing this one yourself. Divide the same number on the top that you do to the bottom.

Let me show you how to do it (easy):

9/15

a) You know what factors are, right? (factors of 12, for ex. are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, & 12)
b) Find the highest factor in both 9 and 15, which is 3, and divide the top and bottom by 3

Which looks like:
9 /15 divided by 3/3 = 3/5

You can tell it's in simplest form when there are no factors that go into both the top # and bottom #.

There you go!

a million. 2/14 (divide with techniques from 2 in numerator and denomenator)= a million/7 2. 17/20 is the least complicated style 3. 34/38 (divide with techniques from 2 interior the numerator and denomenator)= 17/19 5. 17/51 (divide with techniques from 17 interior the numberator and denomentator) = a million/3 btw - u skipped #4.... ?
