how do I export a logo to .eps format without having a background show up?

I have Photoshop 6&7, Corel. I do not have Illustrator or InDesign. Thanks

Yes you can export your logo frm CorelDraw to .eps format
Go to file menu --> Export or simply press ctrl+e to export

Oops. sorry you can't.

the only file formats that supports transparent backgrounds in photoshop (or any bitmap program) is PNG and a transparent gif.

You can do it if you have Adobe Pro.
Just drag and drop. And go to properties if you want to edit it.
